Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the X Cleanup iOS application (bundle ID com.enterx.XCleanup) and related websites operated by Enterx (“we,” “us,” or “our”), including https://xcleanup.enterx.so.

By downloading, accessing, or using X Cleanup, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. The service

X Cleanup helps you free storage by reviewing and deleting user-selected photos, videos, and—when you enable them—related tools such as contacts cleanup, past calendar events, Private Space, Optimize tools (for example Video Compress and Live to Still), and an optional Gmail cleaner.

Honest scope: On iOS, third-party apps cannot freely delete other apps’ files, system caches, or arbitrary device data. X Cleanup is a permission-based cleaner focused on content you authorize (primarily your Photos library and optional Contacts, Calendar, and Gmail features). We do not claim unrestricted “system junk” or full-device cleaning that Apple platforms do not allow.

2. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law and must comply with Apple’s App Store terms. The app is not directed to children under 13. If you use the app on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms.

3. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use X Cleanup on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Use. We and our licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the app, branding, and content (excluding your personal media and data).

4. Your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for granting and managing OS permissions (Photos, Contacts, Calendars, Notifications, Face ID) and for reviewing items before deletion.
  • Deletions are user-initiated and confirmed. Removing photos, videos, contacts, calendar events, or Gmail messages can be permanent (subject to Apple or Google recovery features such as Recently Deleted). Back up important data before deleting.
  • If you grant Limited Photos access, scan results may be incomplete.
  • Do not misuse the app, attempt to reverse engineer it except where allowed by law, or use it to violate others’ rights or applicable law.
  • You are responsible for your Google account if you connect Gmail, and for complying with Google’s terms.

5. Free tier and Premium subscriptions

X Cleanup offers a freemium model. Free users may scan and delete within a daily limit. Premium unlocks unlimited cleanup via the XCleanup Pro entitlement.

5.1 Free tier

Free users may delete up to 20 items per calendar day (count of assets deleted), unless they have an active Premium entitlement. Soft paywalls may appear before deletes; when the free quota is exhausted, Premium is required for further cleanup that day.

5.2 Subscription products

Current Premium offerings (prices may vary by storefront and taxes):

  • Weekly — USD $6.99 per week (or local equivalent). No free trial.
  • Yearly — USD $39.99 per year (or local equivalent), with a 7-day free trial where offered through the App Store.

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID via In-App Purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase or at the end of a free trial if you do not cancel.

5.3 Auto-renewal

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your Apple device, or via Apple’s subscription management pages.
  • Unused portions of a free trial, if any, are forfeited when you purchase a subscription where applicable under Apple’s rules.

5.4 Restore purchases

If you reinstall the app or change devices, use Restore Purchases (in Settings or on the paywall) to restore eligible Apple subscriptions associated with your Apple ID. Entitlements are verified with RevenueCat and Apple.

5.5 Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled under Apple’s refund policies. Contact Apple Support for billing refunds. For product support, email xcleanup-support@enterx.so.

6. Optional Gmail feature

The Email cleaner is optional and requires Google sign-in. You authorize the app to access Gmail only as needed for features you use (such as trashing or unsubscribing from selected messages). Google’s terms and privacy policy also apply. We are not responsible for changes Google makes to APIs or account access.

7. Third-party services

The app relies on third parties including Apple, RevenueCat, Google (Firebase Analytics and, if enabled, Gmail), and website hosting providers. Their services are governed by their own terms. An interruption or change in a third-party service may affect features.

8. Intellectual property

“X Cleanup,” Enterx marks, and the app’s design and code are owned by Enterx or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the app except as expressly allowed by these Terms or applicable law.

9. Disclaimers

THE APP AND WEBSITE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT SCANS ARE COMPLETE OR THAT ESTIMATED STORAGE FIGURES ARE ERROR-FREE. YOU USE DELETION AND CLEANUP FEATURES AT YOUR OWN RISK.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ENTERX AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP—INCLUDING LOSS ARISING FROM DELETIONS YOU CONFIRM. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE APP SUBSCRIPTION IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50, EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

11. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify Enterx against claims arising from your misuse of the app, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of others’ rights, to the extent permitted by law.

12. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time and may cancel subscriptions through Apple. We may suspend or discontinue the app or features, including for legal, security, or operational reasons. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity) will survive termination.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the app and cancel any subscriptions through Apple.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Enterx’s operation of the service, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would require another jurisdiction’s law, except that mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence still apply where required. Disputes will be resolved in courts with competent jurisdiction over Enterx, unless applicable law requires otherwise. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under Apple’s App Store terms as between you and Apple.

15. Apple-required notice

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Enterx only, not with Apple. Enterx—not Apple—is responsible for the app and its content. Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no warranty obligation for the app; any claims relating to the app are our responsibility subject to these Terms. Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
